TAT Piedmont to expand facility on Cessna Drive in Greensboro

Greensboro, N.C.— TAT Piedmont Aviation Component Services, a subsidiary of TAT Technologies Ltd., specializing in APU’s, landing gear, machining, plating, and grinding services, is expanding its current Cessna Drive facility. The company provides component repair and overhaul services to valued clients around the globe. TAT Piedmont will invest over $13.8 million in building, new machinery and equipment, and the project will create 85 new jobs.

The Guilford County Economic Development Alliance, consisting of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and High Point Economic Development Corporation, worked together with the City of Greensboro, Guilford County, Guilford Technical Community College, the Guilford County Workforce Development Board, Duke Energy, Piedmont Natural Gas, North Carolina Department of Commerce, and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, in securing TAT Piedmont investment in Guilford County.
