Contec IAS Selects Greensboro for North American Sales & Engineering Office
Contec Industrial Automation Solutions, a leading international engineering firm, has chosen Greensboro, North Carolina, for its newest sales and engineering office. Specializing in automating industrial processes and equipment, Contec serves a broad range of sectors including food and beverage, petrochemicals, tank terminals, and consumer goods.
This strategic expansion will lead to the creation of 24 high-quality jobs in Greensboro and an investment of $250,000. Additionally, Contec's investment will further support the local economy and cementing Greensboro’s position as a key hub for advanced industrial automation.

Contec opens its Greensboro office in January 2025 at the Centreport office park and is currently looking for automation and application engineers.
The Guilford County Economic Development Alliance, consisting of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and High Point Economic Development Corporation, worked together with the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, North Carolina Department of Commerce, City of Greensboro, Guilford County, Office of Senator Thom Tillis, North Carolina A&T State University, Guilford Technical Community College, Guilford Works, Duke Energy, Piedmont Natural Gas, and Cushman & Wakefield, securing Contec’s investment in Guilford County.
