Friends of Guilford County Animal Shelter

Friends of GCAS is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Guilford County Animal Services. While we are not part of the Guilford County government, we work closely with the staff and management at the Guilford County Animal Resource Center to enhance the well-being of shelter animals and the people who care for them. 

Our mission is to provide support, enrichment, and advocacy for Guilford County Animal Services. Through enrichment programs, volunteer engagement, and community outreach, we strive to improve the quality of life for animals in the care of Guilford County Animal Shelter. 

Together, we’re building a more compassionate community - one where every shelter pet has the care, attention, and advocacy they deserve. 🐾💕
