The Part-Time Hospitality Services Specialist (HSS), under the direct supervision of the Hospitality Services Manager (HSM), is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the Ronald McDonald House Family Room and Hospitality Cart programs in Guilford County. Routine work schedule is Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00AM-5:00PM. Other shifts may be offered to cover for other team members.
Reports To: Hospitality Services Manager

Salary Range: Minimum $15/hr to midpoint $18/hr

Essential Functions
- Staff the Family Room and Hospitality Carts in Guilford County.
- Assist with transporting supplies to Family Room and Hospitality Cart sites in Guilford County.
- Ensure that the Family Rooms and Hospitality Carts are well-maintained/fully operational and fully stocked.
- Provide accurate Family Room and Hospitality Cart statistics.
- Assist as needed with special events.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guest families, volunteers, hospital/medical center staff, and team members.
Qualifications
Required:
- Guilford County resident.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid state issued driver’s license.
- Advanced competency of internet-based database systems (Exceed, Volunteer Hub, etc.).
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to successfully complete training and orientation for each hospital that has a Family Room/Hospitality Cart.
Preferred:
- Spanish fluency.
- Minimum of 2-year college degree.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift and transport up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs as needed.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk (including pushing cart) for extended periods of time
