Keynote by Dr. Mustafa Akben, Elon University 

Artificial intelligence isn’t on the horizon—it’s already reshaping how we work right here in Guilford County.

This year, Action Greensboro asked local employers how they’re using AI in the workplace. The findings, along with key recommendations—including the importance of university partnerships for training and talent development—will be released at this event.

To help guide the conversation, we’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Mustafa Akben, Assistant Professor of Management and Director of AI Integration at Elon University. His research explores how AI tools influence human behavior and how organizations can integrate these technologies thoughtfully and effectively.

Dr. Akben will offer a fresh perspective on what AI means for leadership, culture, and workforce strategy—and how employers can navigate what’s next.
