The annual State of Our Community luncheon is the largest networking event of the year, with over 1,000 business leaders celebrating the successes of our community.

This year's sell-out event features our Future in Flight as Greensboro goes supersonic. The announcement of Boom Supersonic’s Overture Superfactory has been a massive community win, bringing 1,750 jobs to North Carolina by 2030 and expanding to a total of more than 2,400 jobs by 2032.

Blake Scholl, Founder & CEO of Boom Supersonic, will share how Greensboro is on its way to becoming the aerospace hub of the Southeast and what this future of aerospace means for our city.

We will celebrate the winner of the Hubert B. Humphrey, Jr. School Improvement Award. Presented by the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro and the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, the award is based on 10 objective, data-driven performance metrics that track the progress each school makes from the beginning of the school year to the end. We will also be unveiling a new community award at this year's luncheon.

This event has sold out for the past several years. Corporate sponsorships and tables are available now. Individual tickets, if available, will be sold closer to the event.
