Occurring every other year, the Intercity Visit is taken to engage in collective community visioning through best practices and lessons learned from other successful communities. Previous Intercity Visits have led to projects such as the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite, Accelerate Greensboro, Guilford County Schools Career Academies, and more. In 2022, we visited Upstate South Carolina to learn about the BMW effect. We explored city planning, economic growth, minority supplier initiatives, workforce development, and infrastructure while also having some fun experiencing the region. Join us in 2024 as we venture to Nashville.
