Overview: The Heroes MAKE America Community Visit, scheduled for January 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, aims to:

1. Showcase Greensboro’s top manufacturers and the exciting career opportunities in advanced manufacturing.

 2. Connect transitioning military trainees with workforce development, education, and quality-of-life resources.

 3. Strengthen partnerships between Heroes MAKE America, local employers, and community leaders to support veteran workforce integration. 

About the Program: Heroes MAKE America supports transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses by providing them with the skills and certifications necessary for successful careers in manufacturing and related industries. 

Trainees from Fort Liberty earn nationally recognized certifications, including Certified Production Technician (CPT), OSHA 30, Forklift Operator, Lean Six Sigma, and develop expertise in areas like logistics, distribution, maintenance, HR, safety, production, quality, aviation, and more.
