Coffee & Conversation brings together large and small businesses, organizations, and community members. The event combines networking with educational programming, covering a diverse range of topics related to the Chamber's initiatives, such as local agendas, talent development, economic growth, and support for entrepreneurs. Discussions also include city and county-wide initiatives, as well as topics specifically chosen for the community. Participants have the opportunity to share information about their businesses during the networking session, fostering meaningful connections and engagement. Coffee & Conversation serves as a vibrant platform for collective growth, collaboration, and building valuable relationships among attendees from all backgrounds, promoting a stronger and more interconnected business community.

This month we will discuss scaling businesses with Accelerate Greensboro and Launch Greensboro

Launch Greensboro has completely rewritten their programs to be tactical, hands-on, and action oriented to help entrepreneurs start and scale their businesses. Featuring two of our recent success stories, EVP of Entrepreneurship Joey Cheek will highlight how Launch Greensboro’s programming can take you from idea to the marketplace profitably and quicker than you thought possible.

Accelerate Greensboro is the Greensboro Chamber’s Minority-Owned Business (MBE) accelerator, providing actionable resources to MBEs in Greensboro, Guilford County, and Beyond. Programming for midsized to large MBEs helps owners access comprehensive business development strategies and creates pathways for new strategic connections. Accelerate aims to help MBEs overcome the barriers presented by institutional racism and economic inequity so that the business community in our region is more representative of the people it serves.
