JetZero Groundbreaking Ceremony

On June 15, JetZero conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility at Piedmont Triad International Airport. The event featured remarks from several North Carolina leaders, including Governor Josh Stein, Senator Ted Budd, Piedmont Triad International Airport Executive Director Kevin Baker, and JetZero CEO and Co-Founder Tom O'Leary.

Speakers highlighted not only the exciting future JetZero represents for North Carolina through job creation and economic growth, but also the state's rich aviation heritage, beginning with the Wright Brothers' historic flight at Kitty Hawk. Mr. O'Leary shared JetZero's vision for the future of aviation in the Triad while expressing the company's appreciation for North Carolina as the birthplace of modern aviation.

Construction of the major facilities across the 600+ acre campus is expected to be completed by 2030, with initial production of the Z4 aircraft targeted for the early 2030s. The Z4 is a blended-wing aircraft design that draws inspiration from experimental aircraft concepts dating back to World War II.

As a proud member of the Triad's aerospacmanufacturing community, i2E Group was honored to attend and witness this historic milestone for both JetZero and the region. i2E Group looks forward to the impact JetZero's innovative aircraft technology will have on North Carolina, the Triad, and the future of aviation.

Forsyth Technical Community College Career Fairs

The i2E Team was proud to participate in the 2026 Transportation Technology and Business & IT Career Fairs at Forsyth Technical Community College on April 8 and 22.

These were the first of several career fairs i2E Group plans to attend throughout 2026, serving as a strong start to the hiring year. The i2E team had the opportunity to connect with Forsyth Tech students from a variety of educational backgrounds and fields of study, discussing career opportunities and the innovative work being performed at the company's High Point facility.

One of the standout moments from FTCC's career fair series occurred during the Business & IT Career Fair, where i2E Group was nominated for and awarded second place in the student-voted "Most Welcoming Team" category. This recognition was especially meaningful as it reflected the positive interactions and genuine connections our team was able to build with FTCC students and staff throughout the event.

i2E Group's Human Resource Manager, Kim Crowell, shared, "Thank you to all of the Forsyth Technical Community College students and staff who made us feel welcome. We hope to offer the same experience to students interested in joining our team."
