Greensboro Chamber of Commerce Announces New Board Chair at Annual Celebration
The Greensboro Chamber of Commerce announced a leadership transition during its Annual Celebration, held last night at Topgolf Greensboro. Geoff Foster, president and CEO of Core Technology Molding Corporation, officially assumed the role of Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
Foster succeeds Sherri Thomas, Chief Administrative Officer at Truliant Federal Credit Union, who concluded her term marked by steady leadership and a strong focus on people, culture, and long-term growth for the organization.
“Sherri has been a thoughtful and steady leader for the Chamber,” said Brent Christensen, President and CEO of the Greensboro Chamber. “She guided us through important transitions, helped keep our organization strong, and was Chair during a period of major economic development success for our community. We are so very grateful for her service.”
Foster has been actively involved with the Greensboro Chamber throughout the growth of Core Technology Molding Corporation, engaging in programs and initiatives that support advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and economic growth.
“I am honored to serve as Board Chair and to build on the momentum we have as a Chamber and as a community,” Foster said. “Greensboro has an incredible opportunity in front of it, and I look forward to working with our board, staff, and members to help move our economy and business community forward.”
The announcement was part of the Greensboro Chamber’s Annual Celebration, which brings together business and community leaders to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future.
