Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and GCEDA Recognized in Business Facilities’ 2025 Impact Awards
The Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and the Guilford Economic Development Alliance (GCEDA) have been recognized by Business Facilities magazine as part of its 2025 Impact Awards for their role in the JetZero aviation project. The national recognition highlights the local leadership and collaboration that helped secure a transformational investment for the Piedmont Triad.
The Impact Awards honor corporate relocation and expansion projects that deliver meaningful economic benefits to their communities. Projects are evaluated based on job creation, capital investment, community impact, and innovation. The JetZero project in Greensboro was selected in the Aviation category for its expected impact on aerospace growth and advanced manufacturing in the region.
“This recognition reflects the strength of our partnerships with PTI Airport and EDPNC and the long-term work underway to position Greensboro as a competitive home for next-generation aerospace companies,” said Marvin J. Price, Executive Vice President of Economic Development for the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. “Projects like JetZero show what is possible when industry, local leaders, and regional partners work together with a shared vision.”
The Greensboro Chamber and GCEDA worked closely with JetZero and state and local partners to showcase the region’s workforce, infrastructure, and aviation ecosystem. The award reinforced Greensboro’s growing reputation as a hub for aerospace innovation and talent development.
