Skilled and Trades Manufacturing Machinist

Welders

  • Plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
  • Layout and mark weld points on parts and sub-assemblies using rule, square, scribe, or templates.
  • Positions pieces to be welded into jogs, holding fixtures or guides using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Operates welding equipment, regulate current and voltage or gas and wire flow rate for proper penetration and fusion of metals.
  • Obtain maximum weld strength, avoiding distortion and excessive weld at joints.
  • Provide technical direction to others as needed.
  • Must be able to perform math calculations by adding, subtracting, and such as using fractions, decimals, and to solve manufacturing/ assembly issues
  • Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.
  • Work Hours 6:30 am- 5 pm Monday-Thursday, Overtime on Friday and Saturday based on production need

Machine Operators

  • Program, set up and run machine according to work order instruction for production of parts.
  • Ensuring quality of produced parts according to print and work order
  • Operate machine to Form and punch sheet metal parts
  • Familiarity with Amada, Prima Power, Accupress Messer is a plus.
  • Provide technical direction to others as needed.
  • Must be able to perform math calculations by adding, subtracting, and such as using fractions, decimals, and to solve manufacturing/ assembly issues.
  • Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.
  • 2nd Shift Monday- Thursday 4:30 PM to 5 AM -OVERNIGHT SHIFT

Assemblers

  • Performs large assembly functions of truck walls and components using hand or power tools
  • Performs body work on van/trailer bodies
  • Operates stationary and moving overhead cranes
  • Installs lights and wiring
  • Operates saw and any other appropriate equipment as required and needed to perform job.
  • Must be able to perform math calculations by adding, subtracting, and such as using fractions, decimals, and to solve manufacturing/ assembly issues
  • Moves materials with appropriate equipment throughout the work area as needed.
  • Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.
  • Work Hours 6:30 am- 5 pm Monday-Thursday, Overtime on Friday and Saturday based on production need
