Annual Celebration 2023

Description

In 2023, our Annual Meeting will once again be transformed as we host a night of celebration at The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts! Join us, in your denim, as we bring together business and civic leaders from a variety of organizations and companies as we toast our members and community. 

The evening will feature a cocktail reception, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a brief presentation and awards ceremony, and a closing networking reception. Two distinguished business and community leaders who have made significant contributions to their organizations and our community will be recognized through the presentation of the ATHENA Leadership and the Thomas Z. Osborne Distinguished Citizen awards. 

5:30-6:15 Cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres with networking in the lobby

6:30 Program begins (Presentation by the US Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Presentation on Selling Greensboro)

7:30-8:00 Dessert and coffee with networking in the lobby

We will be debuting our 2023 Pay it Forward Donation gift! 

Individual tickets will be on sale until the day of the event. 

Parking is provided at no cost in the Tanger Center lot. 

Detailed information for attendees:

We’re excited to have you join us Wednesday, February 15, 2023 for the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Celebration from 5:30pm-8:30pm at the Tanger Center for the Performing Arts (300 N Elm St). Parking will be available in the Tanger parking lot, with accessible parking available near the Box Office entrance.

Our celebration this year is reception style with beverages and heavy appetizers in the lobby area, starting at 5:30pm. We will move in to the theatre seating at 6:15 pm for the presentation portion of the event. Please eat during the reception. There will be plenty of delicious food and this is your dinner.   We will return to the lobby at 7:30 pm for dessert and coffee.

The attire is, once again, Jeansboro themed. We hope you’ll consider bringing out your best Kontoor denim! This might mean jeans and a blazer or nice top, a jean jacket with a dress, or maybe black pants and a chambray shirt! We want you to be relaxed, having fun, and ready to celebrate!
