State of Our Community 2026
Wednesday, August 26, 2026 (11:45 AM - 1:30 PM) (EDT)
Description

The State of Our Community Luncheon is one of Greensboro’s most anticipated annual events, bringing together a sold-out audience each year to explore the trends, opportunities, and ideas shaping our community’s future.
This year, State of Our Community will explore how research, innovation, and data are moving Greensboro forward.
Hear from the chancellors of UNC Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University about the research happening on their campuses and what it means for Greensboro. They'll be joined by Tom Barkin, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, for a conversation about the role research plays in our economy.
You'll also get a first look at the Greensboro Chamber's new data and research platform for the Triad market.
