Congratulations on reaching an exciting milestone and continuing to invest in the Greensboro community! 

We are honored to help celebrate your success with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and showcase your achievement to the community. To request a ribbon cutting, please complete this form in its entirety.

Scheduling Guidelines

  • Ribbon cuttings are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
  • Please confirm your preferred date with your staff, leadership team, and/or corporate office before submitting your request.
  • If you are celebrating a grand opening or renovation, please wait until all required inspections and approvals have been completed before submitting your request.

What to Expect

Our team will provide:

  • A green ceremonial ribbon
  • Gold ribbon-cutting scissors
  • A certificate of congratulations

Chamber staff and Ambassadors will also attend to help celebrate your milestone and welcome you to the business community.

Following the ceremony, we will share photos and highlights from your ribbon cutting on our social media channels. We encourage you to share the post with your customers, employees, and community.

We want to be sure your celebration is well attended by our staff, ambassadors, and other members! Ceremonies are available Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Dates/Times outside of these hours will be considered on a very limited basis. Optimal schedule times are Tuesday - Thursday, 10am - 4pm for the best community attendance. 

Ribbon cuttings cannot be scheduled on weekends, holidays, or during Chamber signature events. If you are submitting a request for these dates or a date less than seven business days in advance, you may request a Ribbon Cutting Kit instead.

Additional Invites

We encourage you to invite your customers, employees, partners, and community members to attend your ribbon cutting. While your organization is responsible for inviting guests, we can provide contact information and invitation resources for local media and elected officials.
