Campus Greensboro is hosting an employer breakfast focused on the real impact of early employer engagement and why showing up before hiring decisions are made matters more than ever. In a competitive hiring environment, students begin forming opinions about industries, workplaces, and cultures long before they ever apply for a job. Campus Greensboro exists to create those early moments of exposure and employer participation is what brings that discovery to life. 

The Campus Greensboro Fellows Program Employer Breakfast will bring together business and community leaders who believe student retention starts with early exposure, experience, and connection not just recruiting at the end. 

What to Expect 

The program will feature a panel conversation with: 

  • Employer partners from Cone Health and Vontier, sharing why they invest time early, how participation shows up inside their organizations, and what they’ve learned about engaging next-generation talent 
  • Campus Greensboro Fellows alumni who are now working full-time in our community, reflecting on how early exposure through the program shaped their confidence, career clarity, and decision to stay local

Together, they’ll offer a grounded, honest look at how early employer presence influences student pathways and how those moments often become the bridge between education and full-time employment. 

During Breakfast, We’ll Also: 

  • Share the impact of Campus Greensboro on students and employers 
  • Unveil a new model for the 2026 Summer Fellows Program, designed to create earlier, more meaningful points of connection 
  • Connect with peers who are committed to strengthening Guilford County’s student-to-career pipeline and being visible in the rooms where future talent is forming preferences
